Why there is no price list
A fixed price list would be easier to publish and less useful to you. Two people asking about the same operation rarely need the same operation. A primary rhinoplasty and a revision on scarred tissue carry different operating times and different risk. A deep plane facelift alone is not the same undertaking as a facelift combined with a neck lift and blepharoplasty in one anaesthetic. Double jaw surgery planned with patient-specific cutting guides involves manufacturing that a chin implant does not.
Publishing one number for each of these would mean quoting the simplest version of every operation and correcting it later. We would rather tell you what the variables are, look at your photographs, and then give you a figure that holds.
What changes the price
These are the factors that genuinely move a quotation, roughly in order of how much they move it.
- How many procedures are combined. Combining a facelift, blepharoplasty and lip lift in one anaesthetic costs less in total than three separate operations, and it is usually better surgery. Combining also lengthens the operation, which affects theatre and anaesthesia time.
- Primary or revision. Revision surgery works through previous scarring, often with less usable tissue and a longer operating time. A revision facelift and a first facelift are not comparable.
- Whether anything is manufactured for you. Patient-specific implants are designed from your CT scan and produced individually. Orthognathic surgery is planned in 3D with cutting guides made for your anatomy. Both add a real, itemisable production cost that off-the-shelf approaches do not have.
- Hospital time. Some operations are same-day; jaw surgery normally means one to two nights. Anaesthesia time follows the length of the operation.
- Coordination with other clinicians. Jaw surgery runs alongside orthodontic treatment, before and after. That treatment is delivered by your orthodontist and is quoted separately.
- What your anatomy actually requires. Assessment sometimes shows that a smaller operation achieves the goal, or that the goal needs a larger one. This is decided on your photographs and history, not on a menu.
What a quotation sets out
You do not receive a single number with nothing behind it. A quotation from this clinic states, in writing and before you commit to anything:
- The exact procedures planned, named individually
- The surgeon's fee, the hospital and the anaesthesia
- How many nights, if any, you stay in hospital
- Post-operative follow-up, in Istanbul and remotely after you travel home
- Any patient-specific manufacturing, itemised
- The deposit, when the balance is due, and the cancellation terms
- The revision terms that apply to your operation
If something is not in the quotation, it is not in the price. Ask before you travel, not after.
What is quoted separately
Flights and accommodation are yours to arrange, though the team will help you plan around the recovery timeline. Orthodontic treatment for jaw surgery is provided by your orthodontist. Any treatment that becomes necessary for a reason unrelated to the planned surgery is assessed and quoted at the time.
How you get your price
The route is short and costs nothing to start.
- Send photographs and your history through the online assessment. It is free and there is no obligation.
- Dr. Cömert reviews your case personally and replies with his recommendation, normally within one to three days.
- You receive a written quotation for the plan he recommends, with the items above set out.
- You decide. Nothing is booked and no deposit is taken until you say so.
If the assessment shows that surgery is not the right answer for you, you will be told that. That outcome costs you nothing and it happens.
Deposit, cancellation and refunds
These terms are contractual and are set out in full in the distance sales agreement and the delivery and returns policy. In summary:
- The deposit is at least 10% of the total price, depending on the scope of treatment. The exact amount and the balance due date are stated in your quotation.
- Cancelling more than 15 days before the appointment: the deposit is refunded.
- Cancelling less than 15 days before: a deduction applies. The rate depends on the scope of treatment and is stated in your quotation, not decided afterwards.
- If the clinic cancels, or if pre-operative tests find you are not medically suitable, all payments are refunded in full.
- Refunds are made within 14 days of the request being accepted.
- Dissatisfaction with an outcome alone is not a ground for refund. Revision terms are stated in your quotation and are assessed medically.
